Engaging Retired Leaders as Volunteers (manual)
This resource manual is based on the findings of a study conducted with a group of leaders in Victoria, British Columbia in 2003-2004 that were either retired or close to retirement. It offers strategies for managers of volunteer resources and others in the nonprofit sector to successfully recruit these highly skilled and experienced individuals as volunteers. A research report is also available from this study.
