SAP Canada Deepens Partnership With Volunteer Canada
to Promote Corporate Social Responsibility
 
Technology Leader Joins Corporate Council on Volunteering
To Encourage and Enhance Participation Across the Country
 
TORONTO —June 20, 2007 — SAP Canada Inc., a fast-growing subsidiary of SAP AG (NYSE:SAP), today announced its increased commitment to corporate social responsibility by joining Volunteer Canada’s Corporate Council on Volunteering. The goal of this new partnership is to develop and foster corporate campaigns that encourage volunteerism and promote civic participation.
 
“By making volunteerism a priority and enhancing its employee-driven educational and community service programs, SAP Canada has become a positive force for social improvement across the country,” said Ruth MacKenzie, president, Volunteer Canada. “Now, with more than 900 employees and a large network of business contacts, SAP Canada will be a leader in our efforts to expand our corporate volunteer network and ensure that people in need get the services they require.”
SAP Canada’s volunteer activities are organized in accordance with its corporate citizenship goals, which focus on fostering partnerships with not for profit organizations committed to educating K-12 students and helping underprivileged and economically disadvantaged communities. Current partners include Junior Achievement of Canada, the Canadian Council of Aboriginal Business, Volunteer Canada, and Toronto’s Ronald McDonald House.

Under the partnership announced today, Robert Courteau will serve as a member of the Corporate Council on Volunteering. Mr. Courteau is also active on the boards for Junior Achievement (JA) and the Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC), and a member of the advisory board for the Directors College at McMaster University's DeGroote School of Business.
